Celebrating UK’s best food innovation: the Food Talk Awards recap

On Monday 12th June 2o17, The FoodTalk Awards celebrated the best of UK food and drink innovation (full recap video of the event here). On the opening day of London Tech Week, the radio show paid tribute to those who are shaping the future of dining and keeping the UK at the forefront of food technology. From mouth-watering free-from treats, to tomorrow’s tech and revolutionary packaging, the awards recognised the brilliant work that’s changing the way we eat, cook and live. The inaugural awards ceremony was held at OXO2 in the iconic OXO Tower and speaker ‘food urbanist’ Carolyn Steel also gave a fascinating talk about how food has shaped cities such as London over the centuries.
